During World War II the skies over Belgium and the Netherlands were the hunting
ground of one of the most famous pilots in aviation history. Heinz Schnaufer
and his men were responsible for bringing down at least 121 British R.A.F.
bombers at the cost of some 900 R.A.F. air crew. This large format book is
copiously illustrated with hundreds of photographs of Scnaufer and his night
fighters and covers his entire wartime career from 1941 to the end of the war.
The book also includes a color section showing artifacts that have been
retrieved that relate to his units, together with uniforms, medals and other
memorabilia.
