Uit de keuken van Ratchet and Clank komt de heftige first person shooter Resistance: Fall of Man. De kracht onder de motorkap wordt op de proef gesteld in Resistance. Particles vliegen rond, omgevingen worden beïnvloed door de gevechten. Vijanden zijn op elke hoek te vinden en hebben als doel jou uit te schakelen en de guns in je arsenaal laten graag van zich horen
De oorlog tussen de mensheid en een vreemdsoortig ras brandt in alle hevigheid los en alles moet alles gezet worden de onbekende vijand af te slaan. De trailer zat vol actie en gaf ons een glimp van de shooter van de makers van het vrolijke Ratchet and Clank.
Deze happy go lucky instelling is in Resistance niet aanwezig. Het gaat er bruuut aan toe wanneer het gevecht in alle hevigheid midden in een stad is losgebarsten. Het karakter vuurt zonder al te veel moeite de heftigste wapens af in een poging zijn huid te redden terwijl zijn kameraden volop hetzelfde pogen te doen. Brute actie is het sleutelwoord in Resistance.
De bedoeling is dat men naast de uitgebreide single player ervaring ook met 32 man online kunt spelen maar ook co-op en splitscreen wordt niet weggelaten.
